How do I require students to move through each module item in order? – Bearface

When adding module requirements, you can specify that students must move through module items in the order they are listed on the Modules page. This option means that students must complete one module item before they can progress to the next item in the module.

Note: You can only allow students to move through a module if you have added module requirements.

Open Modules

In Course Navigation, click the Modules link.

Edit Module

Locate the name of the module and click the Settings icon [1]. Select the Edit link [2].

Require Sequential Order

Under the module requirements, click the Students must move through requirements in sequential order checkbox.

Note: The Students must move through requirements in sequential order checkbox will not be shown if the Students must complete one of these requirements radio button is selected.

Update Module

Click the Update Module button.
